Director Donna Turner

Scratchings Review by Julie Webb

“The second of the productions in repertory, along with ‘Kes’.   This delightful play, after the style of the Angela Brazil schoolgirl novels, gave plenty of opportunity for the large cast.  Everyone acquitted themselves admirably, the girls led by a spirited performance from Daisy together with her friends and enemies, while the ‘adults’ coped well with their responsible positions.  This production was repeated in the Drama Festival and deservedly won a number of awards.  Congratulations to everyone.”
