Scratchings review: Two titles! So many youngsters that they have to be split into two groups or more.  First of all our thanks and congratulations should be extended to those who have had the courage and commitment to resurrect what was originally The Barnsley Children’s Choral Society (formed in June 1923) disbanded 1939 (war) reformed 1953, went dormant on the closure of the Globe Theatre(1990) and now raring to go with more than 100 hopefuls.  This inaugural production gave the opportunity to youngsters of varying skills and lack pf experience the thrill of being on stage.  What we saw showed lots of promise and enthusiasm-keep up the good work(if you’ve got the energy)
